Disersion Hardening

The dispersion hardening process is based on supersaturating, i.e. heating the alloy to a specific temperature for which the separated phase passes into the solid solution, heating at this temperature and subsequently cooling, as a result we get the retention of the dissolved component in the supersaturated solid solution. Then we make the aging process by heating the supersaturated alloy to temperatures below the solubility limit, heating at this temperature and slowly cooling the material.
We also carry out saturation and aging of aluminium alloys and “maraging” steel in the DLR 2EM and DLR 4EM furnaces. Both furnaces allow you to process loads of a maximum size: 600x380x280mm and weight of up to 150kg or 900x600x450mm and weight of up to 350kg. Dispersion hardening is intended to increase the strength of processed materials.
