The process involving the introduction of carbon into the surface layer of the steel material, resulting in a hard and low-wear surface layer while maintaining the elastic and ductile internal layers of the material, as a result of hardening the details after carburizing. The carburized details should have the free of oxides or scale surface, so that the carbon absorption takes place on pure steel.

We carry out carburizing in an oven with an adjustable endothermic atmosphere (propane and air) at temperatures up to 1000°C. This is enabled by the TFQ 2EM pass-through oven.
